songs4earth.org is here for those of us who care for the Earth to try to do something about it by sharing our original songs and collaborating with one another online to come up with songs that will help inspire positive change and healing for the rift between the human race and the balance of Nature.

This web site and mission began from a seed that was planted by a sage songwriter and champion of songwriters, Steve Schalchlin, who pointed out that our world was trouble… perhaps the musicians could save it, where once upon a time we would have looked to our governmental leaders (who are now trapped by corporate interests and a failing economy) or religious leaders (who have lost too much credibility in the eyes of the masses). Maybe the musicians… maybe you?
